Bit.Trip Apology

So I remember rambling on about how Gaijin’s Bit.Trip is such an old school it doesn’t even save your progress after your done cursing it out for several hours, refraining from smashing your Wiimote against a wall. (The concentration needed just to make it to stage 2 — STAGE 2! — is unbelievable.)

Then after one session after making it to stage 2 and shutting down the system and restarting, expecting to start from 1, I saw 2 had remained unlocked.

Seems there’s a saving glitch (which requires a high score to be reached for the game to save) and Gaijin has apologized to its American players (the only ones who seem effected by this glitch)

I don’t think there’s too much harumphing about the whole situation because players have probably gotten used to the idea that this game was intended to be one of those good “kick my ass” games.

Like stupid Henry Hatsworth.

harumph.
