I’m obviously on some rail running video game trip.
After dealing with a week or so of Bit. Trip Runner’s frenetic pacing, Poto and Cabenga is a slightly more relaxed approach to avoiding obstacles as the game moves you through a stage. One thing that P&C does to compensate for the moderate pacing is to have you separate your focus on the two characters separated by a split-screen. The controls are simple. Hold spacebar to dash, release to jump. Or just tap the space bar to jump.
It’s a good, easy to control browser game that I think could be at home on the Nintendo DS, if it became popular enough.
